NFL Final Cuts Deadline 2014: Most Surprising Releases

The National Football League has announced the final cuts deadline for the upcoming season on Saturday, August 30 at 4PM ET. Each NFL franchises have to trim down their rosters down to 53 players. Check out below the most surprising cut releases this NFL 2014-2015 season.

Stephen Hill, New York Jets

Hill joins the league in the 2012 NFL draft, he was considered raw with great receiving talent and someday be one of the top players at his position. Unluckily, the second-round pick is cut out after 2 seasons recording 45 receptions.

Duke Ihenacho, S, Denver Broncos

The Broncos waive SS Duke Ihenacho together with rookie LB Shaq Barrett and signed T.J. Ward to upgrade their secondary defense. Ihenacho a 17-game starter last year have made 89 tackles with nine pass deflections.

Adam Snyder, OG, San Francisco 49ers
The 32-year-old NFL player had spent time in the offensive line with 73 games for the 49ers in eight seasons. He has also recorded 14 games during a short one-year stay with the Arizona Cardinals before coming back to San Francisco.

Nate Burleson, WR, Cleveland Browns
Champ Bailey, CB, New Orleans Saints
